#666 ! omigoth! okay, so, i just modified my GS info and when i was done, the message reads 666 members! Okay, so, I do believe that this just might mean that I am member #666! how ironic. i was looking in the mirror just this evening and thinking there just might be an OMEN in my future. lol. ![]() okay... whatever... i happened to notice GothicScouts at Darklinks.com... C9 photos page. Thanks to Carrie, I found my way here this evening. Looks like C9 must have been wonderful I saw a LOT of happy faces in the C9 photos that I clicked upon... or .. perhaps that's a condition of being photographed? here's an odd story to sort of get away from the subject even further... the other day, I'm in the kitchen around 3p.m. and in passing the window, I notice a large middle aged man with a camera strapped around his neck with a zoom lens standing on the lawn of the apatment building directly opposite my own building. 3 hours later, i'm running out to pick up a 6-pack of beer, and happen to notice thru the same window, that the same guy is standing in the same position on the same spot... and i can see him and he can still see me and .. you know.,.. it just sort of began to creep me out. Well, i got to thinking and the obvious came to mind... People who are being watched tend to behave differently when they KNOW that they are being watched. just an observation. telephoto lenses are fine and dandy, when they are not pointed at my windows. When I'm being followed I tend to act differently.
You can tell by the bruises on whomever was following me. LP: Very Different |

Re: #666 ! omigoth! Welcome to the scouts! Maybe in truth we are all just in the Matrix.... nah! You know what you should do if he keeps watching you, Make a signs with Little Messages for him. Rent a porn, put it in right before you leave for work and leave the windows open. Stalkers are fun, have fun with him back. Edited by: Innocent Vice at: 5/15/03 8:00:51 am |

Re: #666 ! omigoth! LOL. yeah, that would be a nice touch. When i lived in Texas, in a house i rented, rather than an apartment (money goes farther in Texas than in the NW)... i had problems with solicitors waking me up during daylight hours... (much too hot, and bright out, to be awake during the day) and so, I thought about putting up signs on the lawn and by the door, like: "Fuck OFF!" "NO ONE likes You!" "Now, GO AWAY!" but, i kinda thought, you know... because I didn't really *own* the home... that the landlord might not appreciate that sort of thing when he came by to mow the lawns. re: "leave for work" I spend too much time at home, now. I am recently un-employed (blech). Should we start a thread on the MATRIX? i really wanna hear what anyone has seen or heard in terms of coming attractions. being unemployed, i'm not going to the movies enough to see trailers and stuff. I can still thrive on imagination, so long as you feed me details. Cheers! Re: #666 ! omigoth! Although there is a perfectly rational explination. I work at a building company and sometimes when you are planning to build you need to studdy the traffic flow. That is have someone sit and watch the traffic to see what kind of traffic the street gets and how much at what times. Its how they decide if the street needs improvements before new developement and how big to make parking lots. Edited by: Innocent Vice at: 5/14/03 11:15:45 am |

Re: #666 ! omigoth! oh, well, that's not the case, here... this is "within" the apartment complex. not across a busy street. there's no room for building anything more within this apartment complex. this guy is a resident. i've seen him before. the job you described, has to be frigging sweet! i see those folks all the time in Vancouver, WA when I am driving about on this side of town. I live on the east side of Vancouver, WA and there's a lot of development along the larger of the newer roadways. and there will be a little sign out somewhere nearby stating Traffic Survey in Progress. yeah, i know what your talking about. that is not what this guy is doing. i can't say that i know what he's doing, other than creeping the fuck outta me. Re: #666 ! omigoth! yeah, my gf said she wanted to do the same thing. go talk to him. i'm not up for wasting my time with other people's lives like that. I simply called security, and then when they said they'd check it out when they started their patrols after 8pm, i simply phoned the local police... apparently, the securtiy or someone else had already called local police because the operator said that they were already on the scene. when i returned from the store with the 6-pack. the guy was nowhere to be seen.. and so, i was able to enjoy KMFDM TOUR 2002 dvd with nothing else on my mind, except some rather delicious beer. Cheers! Jett Black - hey, i also use LiveJournal and deadjournal www.livejournal.com/users/jett_black/ and www.deadjournal.com/users/jett_black/ |

Re: #666 ! omigoth! Not to hijack the weirdness of your situation. BUTT I just had a nocturnal movement. Usually I don't have one until after my coffee in the morning but tonight I just couldn't wait, strange that. There’s nothing quite like a nocturnal movement to make you wake up feeling refreshed and ready for a long day of designing video memory controllers. Gosh, I’m a lucky fella. LP: Love, is a burin' thing. |

Re: #666 ! omigoth! Howdy, Jett Black - I remember you from when you were on some other lists I was on way back when. Heck, you might even have visited the Seagoth board a time or two, eh? Glad that Carrie's site pointed you this way - she definitely tends to direct some of the more interesting characters to us. Weren't you doing promoting or distribution in music for a while there? Are you still? Grace "Is this thread for the christian god only? 'Cause I had a few words for Diony... Dionio... Dionyo... Re: #666 ! omigoth!
Through NocturnalMovements (a collective network of many, many members and associated resources), we are able to provide a great many services, and mainly referrals, consultations, and marketing plans for accomplishing new music goals.
Promoting events, and such, for me personally, means working *with* a handful, and sometimes more than a dozen other people who all share similar interests and goals within the promotion of any event. I'm not wealthy, nor do I have any substantial amounts of cash to drain into events of any description. However, I can entirely circumvent the need to waste money by simply pulling together all the essential resources through a collective network of associates. Everyone has a need to be filled, and a lingering piece of "the puzzle" ... the puzzle being the music scene itself.. We all contribute something to collective promotions within the underground music scene. I facilitate the cohesion of the collective, the traffic of pieces that fit well together. As to distributions, yes... promos distributed within "CD PACKS" and "GOODIE BAGS" tend to make their ways to my P. O. Box, and often directly into my hands during music events where musicians find that they need to make a splash of music distributions to djs and music editors and journalists, and other musicians who might like to make contact and set up future gig arrangements, and perhaps to trade remix services... etc. Building bridges between musicians and between djs and between all others in the scene who may enhance one the success of their existing and collaborative marketing plans... that's what I do... in addition to writing an abundance of music articles: interviews and music reviews, concert reviews, etc... as well as train new writers and seasoned writers to apply skills in the support of new music within the underground, and toward the guidelines set forth by many different music magazines, et cetera... All of these things continue within the framework of www.NocturnalMovements.net I also do a great deal of advertising sales team development, street team development and support, etc. Also, I have posted a descriptive resumé upon one of the forums at my message boards at www.NocturnalMovements.net The subject of course reading something like: Jett's Resumé Easy enough to find by looking inside www.NocturnalMovements.net and clicking on the "Message Boards" banner. Among many magazines I write for you will find Gothic Beauty to be perhaps one of the more familiar. I have also contributed articles to Lollipop, Legends, Gothic Preservation Society (Now called DarkCulture), InMusicWeTrust, From Dust, STARVOX, Covet, Gothic Topic, and about 4 dozen (or maybe many more) others... submitting articles to music magazines has been a pet hobby of mine for many, many years... since about 1985, I believe. Back then, I was mainly writing for indie punk music scene rags. Photocopied, impossible-to-read jobbers. Sometime between 1986 and 1996, I wrote a tremendous lot of awful poetry, which a great many people professed then and continue to maintain that I should have published. I have done so with select items through some of the magazines for which I have written. I'm never satisfied with it however, always revising details. Re-writing the past, perhaps... but really, I believe it's just that I see now how bloody awful it truly is. Around 1996, NocturnalMovements grew out of an effort to bring far more attention to music than people I travelled 6 hours to meet up with once of twice a week seemed to be familiar with at all. The motivation now remains the same as then: to generate a buzz of communication around MUSIC and other aspects that tie into the underground music scene ... rather than to spend all my time discussing "He said/She said" topics of no real importance ... Drama is a fine source of entertainment... I will concede to that much... Quote:-- Wolfsheim - "Everyone Who Casts a Shadow" Cheers! Re: #666 ! omigoth! no, generally, that type of movement tends to also include toilet water, so scientists tend to refer to just such an exercise as a "posterior-thrust aquatic bowel movement". Refer to your text books on page 431 for a detailed illustration. |
