170km/h
Yay, I hit 170 the other day coming down on the 15, the governor didn't kick in, so I'm wondering how high it goes. I won't be doing that too often though, cruising at 120 is just fine for me.. especially in winter
Well, things are quite different for me. In the Winter I'm lucky to take it up to 100Km/h. The conditions are so bad that I'm affraid of dammaging something so I tend to drive like a woman...umm, no, that's not true cuz I still drive well...oops. There I go again. Anyways, all this to say that I'm a big wuss when it comes to driving in the Winter.

I admit that in winter I am chicken when it comes to traffic. I hate traffic in winter and I am phobic to people breaking like idiots in front of me. Even though I got ABS, I always feel that my car is gonna suck some SUV ass so I am definetely practicing my defensive driving.
But I always express my "wild side" in the mall parking lot for some wild 360's, the other day I was with my chick and her friend to a movie and I did a kickass handbrake slide right next to a parked car. Ever heard 2 girls screaming at the top of their lungs in a j-body for 5 seconds of sheer terror? Man, it'd put Pat's subs to shame !

Ummm...you haven't heard Pat's subs in a while 'eh? He would "whoop" you for makin' that comment on his subs...hehe. Those things would drown ANY type of sound beleive me...they're crazy, just %$#@! crazy!

170kmh?!... at what speed is the limiter on j-body?! It most really suck to have a speed limiter... I remember once I hit the rev limiter in 4th gear at 180kmh... I was too focus on the car I was racing I think... its scare the shit out of me.... I was like "WTF?!?!?!" hehe.. then I shifted in fifth gear and went all the wait to ~220kmh
Im a little psycho.. because I usualy drive at night I hit over 180kmh almost everyday... even during winter call me crazy... I like high speed on freeway when its clean and no one is around... on the other hand im the kind of person to be very safe on bld, and residential streets.

LOL, well I have the 120hp sunfire. (96 is the only year they made them in 120hp, new ones are 115hp...yay!) And the limiter (depending on the car) but it's around 175-190 km/h. U can disable it but that needs some reprogramming on the CPU. My gf's brother just bought a 2000 SiR, they're pretty cool. I just don't have the cash for one hehe...aw well, maybe when they come back in 2-3 years...
I wanna see where my limiter is at but I ran out of straight road at 170...it was on the 15 southbound over the bridge going from St-Therese into Laval. (Pont des Mille Iles I think)...anyway there's a sweeping right curve after that and I had to slow down cuz otherwise....bang.
I'm having some visions about dropping in a modded 150hp GT engine in, but I wanna wait a while cause I only have 60000km on this engine and it runs pretty damn good for now. Let's abuse it for a while !

thanks... yes I like my SiR... just tell you your gf's brother to wait about 4000km... those cars are a lot faster after a few km on it... I passed from 16.34 to 15.36 with 4700km on the car... a full second on the 1/4 is a LOT

Ok guys they put a cut off on your bomb well it's because they know that it's not necessary to fight more than that a lot of civic and other cars will be behind you 'till 170 so you win beofre the end on the quarter mile i m not afraid of those Sir so you'll see this summer with the drag test that i'm gonna do keep watchin'you'll see!that an american power ain't shit!!! ciao
P.S : for the one who don't know what i own is a 2001 GT so civic bring yourself on the fight scene!!

hey guys, i was just wondering do manual z24's block at a certain speed? i was racing an auto 2001 z24 we were stuck next to each other almost the whole way until 180 her car just stopped there but my car kept going i think i reached the 200Km/h mark but i cant tell my speedometer stops at 180 and i was raving like 4600 does anyone here know whats the top speed on those cars? pretty surprinsing the car was very stable at that speed huh. anyways ciao guys

pretty much stock... the airbox resonator is removed (only give a funny sounds... im waiting for my CAI), I have a drop in K&N! and thats about it!!!

I really dont think the K&N drop in gives any hp... I only have it because it was free and its re-usable (is that even a word )! No change in sound or butt dyno for me!
