yeah, too bad steven won't be there. but, he's done it every year kurt has had a special, so i understand why he isn't doing it this season.

I can’t believe it’s only 15 days away !!!
I’m not looking forward to the 10-hour ride.
Last year the show was Nov 1st.
We took our kids Trick or Treating and then drove overnight.
This year we are leaving Friday morning.
It should make the trip much easier.
We wouldn’t do it for anyone but Kurt!!!

wow! 10 hours! i'd definetly do that for kurt as well, maybe a few select others. but it'll be worth it! i assume you are spending the night? which hotel are you at?

whoo for the sheraton! i'll be there as well!! should be a happening place. it was rockin with all the skaters there last year, very exciting.

good to hear Brenda because I want to have a convo with Kurto and tell him I'm your friend. LOL!! I'd like to bump into Shae and Vic because I forgot to tell them something and I want a picture of them together. It was quite hard to get those 2 together at Stars come out to shine. You basically had to drag Vic by the collar to Shae and tell him to stay there!

lol you're going to tell him you're my friend? I think he'll get the gist when he sees us together. I hope there is a reception this year. But, Kurt didn't go to the reception last year. He did interviews after the show instead.

I'll be there too!! I'm getting impatient for it to come!! Can't wait to see what Kurt has up his sleeve. It's been many years since I've seen Brian B. skate live, so that should be interesting too.

Does anyone know if Sonia will make an appearance in next week's Gotta Skate show? Her name isn't on the cast list and considering she just had a baby a few months ago, it doesn't look too likely she'll be added to the cast this year. She was such a big part of the last two shows and this year's won't be the same without her, but I'm sure it'll be a great show nonetheless (did I mention how envious I am of everyone who'll be in the stands watching next week?)
I'm also looking forward to the Kurt/Brian B. duet. I'm willing to bet it won't be a footwork duet, though... because we all know who'd win that one!
Have fun, everybody (and don't forget to come back with lots of nice, detailed reviews for those of us who have to wait two months to see it on TV!)
