虽然外国人的thank you卡上表达的情感难免夸张，不过看到Jon兄弟的“china was truly a trip of a lifetime and i am forever at your service”和Suart姐夫的“thank you for the best vacation ever! you both gave us a gift that will be remembered for our lifetime. we love china and the wonderful peple”时，虽然难免被‘lifetime’'forever at your service'这样的大词汇小震了一下，不过还是就此真的为祖国和祖国人民大自豪了一番啊。那么，每次和这个海外旅游兴趣小组同行时，不时就会有贼头狗脑的人附身耳语道：“导游小姐，你帮我把客人带进来，我给你30％的回扣”的烦恼也就烟消云散啦！

10. Vivian is a laid-back, relaxing tour guide who enhances a special chemistry in our group - then (oh darn) Mark is released from quarantine.

3. We are celebrities of sorts in China. The short Chinese strangers ask for pictures with Jon because they think he is an NBA player; other strangers ask for pictures with Georgia because she is so pretty; for unbeknownst reasons a family asks for their picture with Ronnie. No one asks for a picture of Mark, but somehow he achieves a spot on their roll of film.
2. Jon and Stuart only have one complaint: the 3 and 1/2 hour spa and foot massage was not quite long enough.
1. Upon our departure, Mark shoves us into the van that takes us to the airport. It is not until we pull away from the curb that he smiles for the first time in two weeks.
