actually i dont know if you saw at napierville during car fever the 1/4 mile on an s2000 aint to impressive there was a couple they were all in the high 16. i thought that car would be faster anyways lemme know if you have more info on that. anyways dont get me wrong i dont hate honda i was actually going to buy a civic Sir but got a better deal on a Z24 and when i drove it i liked it. About races do you go wednesdays to the 13 in laval? anyways if you do lemme know most of the time im there if you want we could try to race if no cops around i usually go there with a 2001 sunfire Gt.
Re: need some action here!!
My friend's boyfriend ran 13.84 with his stock S2000 last year! a normal driver should be able to hit low 14s easy!
I dont go to 13 anymore... I have better things to do then lost my then there. no offense!
ill be racing at Napierville Dragway this saturday from 10am to 3pm... you can come and watch us... only 5$ for spectators!
im hoping some 14s runs...

Well I got some action coming back from school today. Me and a Talon I don't think it was a turbo but it was the old 135hp. I took off a little fast then he comes besides me and flors it I do the same at the end of 2nd gear had about a half of car in front of him considering he started to accelerate first it's not that bad besides I think he's car wheighs about 150-200 pounds less then mine, anyway good race !!!!

Talking about races saturday night i was out with my friends going towards down town, this protege 5 was sticking up my ass so of course the idiot came next to me at the light well there was a limo between us at the light we went and wasted him. I have no idea though what kind of engines those cars have but wasnt to impressive but they look really nice. If you guys know about their engines lemme know. ciao

re:
well the engine is an 4cyl 2.0 L
130hp @ 6000 rpm
135torque @4000 rpm
and it has the same weight as j-body's
Conclusion it's not very fast and I heard that it doesn the 0-100km/h in like 10 sec

Re: re:
And we have the 150 HP STOCK engine with air intakes and mufflers so at the same weight, we have the slight advantage.........and if your a skilled driver like SAMMY.......(lol) he has no chance!

integra losses
Hey guys i just raced an integra about an hour ago i just left work and i was in a hurry to come home this black integra im not sure of the year but had amazing mags anyways i smocked him... i dont think he had anything on the car besides the mags cause usually they put up a tougher fight dont think there was any vtec (votre transmision est case) there. Do the inetgras have the same engines as the civic si?? anyways ciao people post your speed tales cause winter is almost here and we wont be hearing much about speeding not from me anyways. ciao

re:
I raced an integra once too and won but it wasn't a vtec. The same goes for the civics, if they aren't v-tec don't even bother racing them you're waisting your gaz money!!!

high speeds
Hey I have a question is it normal for a 3.1L manual to lose acceleration at high speeds like on the highway because cars that I can destroy 0-100 can keep up with me not too bad at high speeds. If this is true that older j-body's lose acceleration on the highway then is it the same think for the new ones ????

i dont think soo man, i find my car drives very good on the high way, no need to down shift to pass... i have done 190km/h no problem. my friend has an older Z an 89 i think and i dont think he has that problem ill ask him. But i know the japs with wtec r suppsed to be good on the high way...

Ah ok because the car that I had like trouble following the other day was a crx modified and my friend who has an old celica well at low speeds It's not too hard to win but at high with time distance grow's larger between us but it's not the same as low speeds anyway maybe it's just me too I don't really have alot of highway experience and maybe the differences in cars for acceleration is not as big as low speeds

Re: Race story

re
I belive you man it's quite normal your car does the 0-60 mph in 8 sec a prelude v-tec does it in 7.2 if the driver know's how to start so it's not such a big difference and probably the prelude you raced wasn't event a vtec so it's like an above 8 sec car for the 0-60mph.
