oooh, was that a tumbleweed?
There's been some talk in blog land and elsewhere that we need to get this place active again. So here I am.

What's going on, guys? What are you working on? What are you reading?

I'm going to go play in the tumbleweed now. Hee.

I've missed classified ops. It was where I first found the Alias fandom. Where I got welcomed into the family. I so hope that season 2 gets everyone posting here again. Blogs and IM are wonderful, but I love this message board, too.

The tumbleweeds were getting thick over here . . .

I'm working on my angsty wancie WIP that I should have never posted as a WIP. :) I also plan to write "House of Lies" part 2. And my muse is all excited about the premier. Jack and Will scenes have excited me--I think Will actually trusts and likes Jack. My muse is thinking of all kinds of friendship fics. :)

As for what I'm reading . . . wow, there has been some absolutely wonderful fic posted this summer. I'll have to sit back and think about it all. (Vera being one of course. <g>)

I told you Robin. Will and Francie aren't one parters per se. You put them together and they want to tell their story.

As far as what I'm working on. Eeek. Recoil is ALMOST DONE. DEAR GOD. The fic that started as four chapters, is now going on 12?! It's been a fun ride while part of me will miss it, the other part of me is happy to see if off my hard drive. I still have to work on Cessation, Reves, and the Blood Ties series. Eeek.

For what I'm reading...um. Vera, Observations, WND, and a few others. I need to start WIB soon.

As your beta reader for this entire trip, I can't believe it's almost coming to a close. I can see the end of that long tunnel. Of course, unlike you, I realized that it was going to be a lot longer than 4 chapter. You were just in denial of the size of story your muse was sharing with you. ;)

Oh, and Blood Ties. Have I mentioned how much I *love* this series, Jenai? I think it rocks! I can't wait for our writing to catch up with the plot we have planned. And of course the porn. Even if all you want from me is smut. :( <g> First you get me to write first person porn, and now you go me doing second person porn . . .

I guess I could have responded to my earlier questions, huh. Hee.

Things are going pretty good, Jenai. And I can't wait to see how your VEX ends.

And Robin is right, there have been a ton of good fics posted this summer, including a lot of stuff by the two of you. :)

As for what I'm working on....Ep 7 fic (yeah, I know we just finished Ep 1), which I won't be more specific about for fear of spoiling. The WPP (witness protection porn....hee), which wants to be epic but I'm not going to let it. And complete and utter pwp smut that is mostly done but I need to get my lazy ass in gear and edit. I think that's it. Only three!

I have such focus issues.

It's cool how an OC changes throughout the course of planning a story. Chris ended up being very different than her original self, and I'm glad she did.

It's going to be so sad when all the VEXes are done. Hee.

Wow. I haven't been here in...well...a LONG time. And, darn, I really missed this place. :)
