Well we aren't exactly sure that the song is written about Owen. It's dedicated to someone she calls O, we're just guessing it is him. If it is about him, she may have actually written it awhile ago. She did say that they broke up around the time she recorded her current album so, it make sense that if it's a good song, which I think it is, it would be on there. She only really talks about Owen if she's asked by journalists, which of course they'll do because he's known more now and the story is of interest to fans... I don't think she's trying to cash in on his success, she doesn't really need to.
