"Who do you want me to be?"
Remember how Andy would ask his dates that question? "Who do you want me to be tonight?"

And sometimes, they would answer......"Andy, I just want to be with the real ~you.~"

--------------------

We have, previously on this forum, touched upon the possibility of Andy having Aspergers Syndrome. Whether he did or not, he certainly experienced GREAT trouble with what is considered "normal" social interaction...this is not even a debatable point.

--------------------

It struck me that, perhaps he asked that question, because he had "learned," at some point in his life, that no one would ever really like, love, nor accept the "real" him - and so, in order to be accepted, he would become whomever you would like. Just don't abandon him. (Like Papu did?)

---------------------

What do you think?
