ugly wall contest entry/posted on nov 19th, 2003
my entry:

ok, this was very fun to at least try. please be warned there is an hourly limit to view the pics thanks to yahoo. if you get the bandwidth limit exceeded please try again at a different time. I did upload big pics of the room so I guess it eats up all my space?
thanks for having this contest. it was fun. good luck to everyone.

thanks! Everyone's rooms look terrific and unique.
I think I was trying to minimize the noticing of the walls and to do that use things to blend in with it like the southwestern designs of some of the objects but to add my own little personality in there as well.
For some reason, I am not a "set" downloader, I like to mismatch things and I guess you can see that by the way I design rooms. I also tried to use original maxis items as much as possible where i could.
Mismatching adds some reality to it all. Not much in my own house matches, lol! I had a lot of fun doing this and was a bit scared to show it to anyone but it is just in fun, so I guess there is no need to be afraid,
(((whew! relieved to come out of my simming closet...)))
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and Thanks to SIManic for having the contest and to the owners for offering their time and gifts, and to everyone for making the community a fun place to be, as always!
Sincerely, Tammy
